Manta rays swim with divers off the coast of Mexico

Photographer Franco Banfi captured on camera the manta actually seeking out a diver. He said: "Normally they are quite shy and reserved and get together in small groups only during the mating period and at what are called 'cleaning stations', where small fish clean parasites. But at San Benedicto the mantas actually actively go right up to the divers, taking a position two or three metres above our heads...Check out more amazing photos here!
